March 2016 review by Adam Newborn: "One day...it only took one day for me to read this brave, beautiful, uncomfortable, and intelligent book. Tripp's memoir is a stunning piece of work. There were so many moments where I had to put the book down for a moment because Tripp's writing was so relatable I actually believe he was telling my story at some point. Everyone should read this book gay, straight, parents, children, and everyone in between. Though the subject matter of coming out is a piece of the book it is not the overall message. Forgiveness, discovery, patience, love, and so much more are all the puzzle pieces of this amazing book. So thrilled I discovered this book and will recommend this to anyone who will listen. Thank you Paul Tripp for such an important piece of work."
